When I had qbittorrent 4.6.0 installed - the lt20 qt6 version to be exact - the 'new version available do you want to download' dialog wanted to download the 'Windows x64' version, which uses libtorrent 1.x instead of 2.x. I would expect that when you have the version with libtorrent 2.x installed, the offered download version would also be the one with libtorrent 2.x , instead of the version that uses libtorrent 1.x.
PS: This is not new behavior for this version of qbittorrent. I noticed this before (but cannot remember the earliest version with which this happened), but never opened a bug report before for it.
Steps to reproduce
Install qbittorrent 4.6.0 with the 'qbittorrent_4.6.0_lt20_qt6_x64_setup.exe' installer.
Start qbitttorent, and (if needed) click (in the menu) on 'help' and 'check for update'.
Click on 'Yes'.
qbittorrent will now offer to download 'qbittorrent_4.6.1_x64_setup.exe', instead of 'qbittorrent_4.6.1_lt20_qt6_x64_setup.exe'
qBittorrent & operating system versions
qBittorrent: 4.6.0 x64 Operating system: Windows 11 23H2 x64 (10.0.22631) Qt: 6.4.3 libtorrent 2.0.9.0
