unraid not moving from cache to array  #20484

qBittorrent & operating system versions

i on the latest QB on unraid v.4.6.3

What is the problem?

mover isn't 427023323_927479912341386_6523861911629449121_n moving downloads from cache to array

Steps to reproduce

Simple really: if I have my downloads going to Downloads, then Sonarr and radarr would pick them up, and from downloads, it would get moved to the array of downloads from the cache drive. How would I get them to move it? Stop QB, hit the mover, then they would move, then start QB.

Additional context

You can see in the background of this photo that it's my cache drive. I was going to try and manually move the file, but as you see, it's already there, so it's like a ghost file. but for some reason it's not really moving over until you stop QB. It's like a ghost file or something; I don't know what to call it.

You can follow this guide to automate all of this you've described on your Unraid server: https://trash-guides.info/Downloaders/qBittorrent/Tips/How-to-run-the-unRaid-mover-for-qBittorrent/

Question how would i get this to work with out the script o have another nvme setting around it dose state "When you make use of the unRAID cache drive for your /data/torrents share, and the torrents in qBittorrent are still seeding, the mover can't move files since they are still in use." im guessing if i use another another cache drive this would be a work around?

You all need to change this sh*t back to how it was because I refuse to use this program.

Your program is now trash. I'm not going to do any of that. I just paid $200 for NZB can't put a price on convenience or something that works how it is intended to work. I will not be taking extra steps to get this shitty ass docker to work.

How was it?

but for some reason it's not really moving over until you stop QB

Naturally. qBt is seeding the torrents that contain those files. No idea how unraid works or how *arr interact with qBt but maybe you can use qBt's "Use another path for incomplete torrents" in which case qBt will move those torrents when they finish downloading, not the "mover" (whatever that is). Or "Set location..." to manually move them. Or use the provided guide above.

P.S. Your pics are thumbnails (useless).

It works amazing, and I don't have to babysit it, as I shouldn't have to. I don't have time for babysitting. I work 3 weeks on 1 week off, so I simply do not have time.
