New sliding context menu is glitchy in 4.6.5 #20911

qB: 4.6.5 x64 qt6 lt2.0 Win 11 Ent 22H2 (10.0.22621)

What is the problem?

I personally don't like these modern FX like animated elements: resizing windows on maximize/minimize and sliding menus. I first thought that it looks a lot like Windows 11 effect and turned off everything. But qB still uses sliding context menu. It was not in 4.6.4, it is fresh innovation and it is ugly building up and looks glitchy. But the worst problem is that cascading options like categories, tags, copy with arrow - are super slow. I have to wait almost 10-20 sec in each torrent while it initializes. Please, if possible - return the old fading menu, this sliding thing is not serious...

Personally, i have no idea what you're talking about.

So, if nothing was changed regarding this in qB, then something was changed in Windows 11 (maybe some accident setting). There's a setting here to turn off sliding menus. But it doesn't affect qBittorrent, but I see change, for example, in Directory Opus instantly. Menu slides from under cursor instead of simply appearing. image

I couldn't reproduce myself on other PC with Windows 10. 4.6.3 vs 4.6.5 no difference. At same time the option underlined above is set there and doesn't affect qB at all.
