Bug: [not response] with Cyrillic torrent name #21005

qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: v4.6.5 (64-bit) Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 21H1/2009 x64 (10.0.19043) Qt: 6.4.3 Libtorrent: 1.2.19.0 Boost: 1.85.0 OpenSSL: 1.1.1w zlib: 1.3.1

What is the problem?

Hello i have issues with cyrillic letters in torrent file, not file name, but cyrillic in file itself: folder\file name etc, when i try run file, qbitt just not response and freeze. The language in qbitt is Ukraine i try change to russian but any way have this bug. Can you test and fix it? I add test cyrillic torrent to test this issues. Тестовий файл-Test File Cyrillic.zip

Steps to reproduce

  1. run cyrillic torrent
  2. program freeze with no response

They have *.mdf / *.mds files.

So it looks like this is it. *.mdf / *.mds are related to Alcohol 120%. It seems that when Alcohol 120% is installed, it hinders or slows down the system function of getting information about the file type, which is used by qBittorrent to obtain the file type icon.
