qBittorrent & operating system versions

qbit 4.6.5 window 10 (10.0.1xxxx)

What is the problem?

See the step to rep

Steps to reproduce

  1. Make sure "Use another path for incomplete torrents" were checked
  2. Drop tonrrent A to qbit , "save path " chose A path located in A disk, then start download
  3. Copy some files to A disk, make sure the avialable size of A disk less than the size of A torrent contents
  4. Once qbit finish the download ,it will auto move A file from " incomplete path" to save path, due to there is no space for the file, the moving progress will be aborted and give an errror msg,BUT,on the transfer page, it show A file already loacated in A:/A

It's not clear what you mean. Could you provide screenshots?

the selected file actully is completed and should autolly move by qbit from ”In complete path L:/download/beauties“ to V:/beauties .But due to abort progress, it still in L actually (if I right click the file and open destination ,windows explorer will open L:/download/beauties). BUT it show now it is in V:/beauties, this will mislead users ,for example,I wanna tag torrents by ”real location“,usually I will desc the ”save path “ colum and select all V:/beauties and tag as "stored V disk"

In some extreme situation ,for example ,if I uncheck "Incomplete save path" column, will never notice the problem ,and in my mind all completed files has been moved to V, then I format L, well, the files non-auto-moved will be lost.

So I advise the "save path" should force update to L:/download/Beauties even though users chose V:/beauties after moving progress aborted

BUT it show now it is in V:/beauties,

It doesn't show anything like that. All it shows are two configuration parameters of torrent - "save path" and "incomplete save path". They only mean that the files are intended to be in one place or another, depending on the current state of completion of the torrent. I already thought it would make sense to add the "current save path" field, but there's still no time to do it.

yes ,need a column “current location“ ,otherwise hard to figure out where the files really stored in

I have 200+ tasks face this problem(autodownload but forget to check the remaining size of the "save path” disk ,then run out of space, some moved success, some failed), have to check ,mark ,tag one by one ,really hurt
