Unable to reproduce, tested two very old pendrives. https://www.google.com/search?q=JetFlash+TS2GJFV60 https://www.google.com/search?q=Kingston+DT+100+G2 Your issue is not with qBittorrent.
The problem exists, I tested it with a Kingston unit and a Dell unit, both had problems downloading this torrent:
Can't reproduce either (tested a 10 MiB torrent). i certainly won't waste 2 GiB just for a test unless maybe if OP confirms that this specific torrent is the problem.
@GabrielMGitHub What size capacity are these pendrives & how are they formatted??
I tested it on Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 qBittorrent v5.0.0beta1 (64-bit)
Qt: 6.6.2 Libtorrent: 2.0.11.0 Boost: 1.84.0 OpenSSL: 3.2.1 zlib: 1.3.1
working normally close topic
Closing - No further feedback from OP.
qBittorrent & operating system versions
Qt: 6.4.3 Libtorrent: 1.2.19.0 Boost: 1.85.0 OpenSSL: 1.1.1w zlib: 1.3.1 Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.4651
(10.0.19045)
What is the problem?
I always downloaded my torrents directly to the pnedriver, but qBittorrent stops downloading at 22%, the application freezes and when closing qBittorrent the icon stays stuck in the system tray until I remove the pendriver, I tested it on 5 pendrivers and the same thing happens same problem.
I tested with pendrives with slow writing speeds
Steps to reproduce
Downloading a torrent directly to a USB stick causes the problem
