As I understand it - there are two (2) types of checks.
You may by accident removed or moved some of the files while the Qbit was shutdown.
I agree. And many times when I changed some file location or deleted files of completed torrents, then qbittorrent can take over 30 minutes to complete the check, especially on an external 2TB HDD. It's really a useless check that makes no sense for completed torrents. It's actually a bug, imo, not just a bad feature.
Suggestion
I would like to be able to prevent qbittorrent from checking my already completed and seeding files.
Use case
Checking hundreds or even thousands of files after every startup, as qbittorrent likes to do, takes a lot of time and puts a lot of stress on the hard drives. This seems to be redundant for files that have already been completed.
