Unable to Connect to WebUI with Chrome

qBittorrent & operating system versions

host:

qBittorrent: 5.0.0 x64 Operating system: Windows 10 Pro x64

webui clients:

Arc 1.16.2, Chrome 119 macOS 15.0

What is the problem?

I am attempting to connect to the WebUI. I'm able to connect just fine using Safari, but when using Chrome or Chromium based browsers, it just says unable to connect

This site can’t be reached
http://192.168.1.17:8080/ is unreachable.
ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE

Steps to reproduce

Open Chrome
go to :8080
failure to connect

Additional context

No response

hello, i had the same issue. i just allow Arc browser to have access to local network on my mac . restart the browser and it's work now.

Came here to mention this, it's not a qbittorrent issue, macOS Sequoia requires chrome to have permisson to access devices on local network. So 192.168.. won't work if you don't allow. You can change this setting in , System Setting > Privacy and Security > Local Network and allow chrome access.
