qBittorrent removes the .!qB extension if it is contained in the source torrent #21758

What is the problem?

qBittorrent removes the .!qB extension if it is contained in the source torrent. I accidentally found such a torrent that contains a file with the extension .!qB, however the extension is not saved. I also tried enabling this feature, the file should come out as file.mp4.!qB.!qB, and when downloading it does, but as soon as you download, the extension .!qB.!qB is removed.

Why would a file have this extension intentionally? To me it sounds like the creator of that torrent messed up...

Yes, but after downloading such a torrent, the file looks like normal.
