Currently, even with "merge trackers to existing torrent" enabled, adding a duplicate torrent from a private tracker won't merge with the existing torrent. This makes sense in general, but in some cases the torrents are for the same private tracker (and may in fact be identical). In that case, it would be nice if the client would allow the torrents to be "merged", at least to the extent that it reports that adding it was successful.
Use case
This would be useful for working with tools like Radarr and Sonarr, which add torrents from trackers as part of a larger flow of monitoring downloads and renaming files. It can be useful to loop an existing download into that flow without having to stop and restart it.
