qBittorrent doesn't contact trackers after some time #280

After some time (from 0.5 to 2 days) all the trackers are in "not working" state and no seed announces are taking place.

MPW1412, maybe. I was experiencing this bug for years but I don't know what exactly triggers it.

Can you reproduce it with a single torrent with a single tracker? You can also try using 'Always announce to all trackers' in Options -> Advanced.

Gelmir, 'Always announce to all trackers' is checked. I don't know exactly how to trigger the issue. I was running qbittorrent on my seedbox 2 years ago and once a week it won't contact the trackers until restart, and right now I'm seeing the same on my laptop. All non-private torrents are downloading fine if the DHT peers are available, but if the torrent file is private, it won't be downloaded until program restart.

This instance was started yesterday evening so it was running ~14 hours and compiled with -march=native -mtune=native -O2 -pipe

I had this issue, I found that it was due to having Anonymous Mode activated. The more information button doesn't seem to work, but it seems that Anonymous Mode prevents trackers from being contacted, and uses PeX and DHT instead if they're enabled.

@zerovox, I don't use anonymous mode and never used it.

@zerovox, your are totally right. Turning off the Anonymous mode maked qBT contact the trackers.

We are closing all issues related to old qBittorrent versions (qBittorrent < 4.1.0). Please, update to last release and, if the bug/error/crash is still present, open another issue. Thank you.
