Anyone?
Options => Downloads tab => Append the label of the torrent to the save path. If this solves your problem, please close this issue.
Thank you but no, it does not. I've read through a lot of similar requests here and apparently, no one developing qBittorrent seems to be willing to address this obvious need. Labels do not work for me since I use the blackhole function and there's no interaction on my part. Every Newsreader client and every other bittorrent client I've used has a useful function implemented, one way or the other. Most let you assign directories to labels or even better, sort stuff based on keywords (in the torrent or downloaded file). Implementing something like this does not make it bloatware (as someone suggested) but makes this client rather much more useful.
I just left a comment in #1908 but @loungebob request is exactly what I'm looking for. Everything else works great, but not having this feature breaks my torrent download automation. I have also seen similar requests in other issue threads.
+1 request
dont hold your breath, it's not like anyone cares :-(
Well, no one is getting paid for this, so I'm sure it takes a back burner to the rest of life. :P I don't really know how complicated the feature is to add. On Nov 11, 2015 8:36 AM, "loungebob" notifications@github.com wrote:

qBittorrent now has an API so that SickRage can add the label, so your specific use case could be reality in the near future as soon as SickRage implements this new API.
very cool!
So basically I would like qb to distribute downloaded torrents based on either location (what folder it automatically added the torrent from, depending on it, move finished content to specific folder) or the type of content it's downloading (probably based on the torrent/file name) or labels (dont know how that would work unless sickrage would add a label to the downloaded torrent file and qt reads that label) to specified folders. E.g. downloading a tv show? move to TV SHOW directory. downloading an album with music? move to MUSIC directory and so on.
I dont seem to be able to get that to work. it's all automated so I dont see the dialog box where I could add labels and the Options/Downloads/Automatically add torrents setting is confusing at best. I seem to be able to choose where to pick up the torrent but not where to put the final download (per pick-up location that is). I can only choose to download it to the pick-up location or to the default download location.
Is what I would like to do not possible with qt?
