Thanks for reporting. It's quite hard however to debug such errors as it all depends on the UPnP implementation. (I often just use manual portforwarding as many routers have crappy UPnP. Like it stucks and such.)
@sledgehammer999 close?
@Visitor2 Does this still happen?
Yeah, this still happens, totally inconsequential though -- as in, it doesn't appear to be effecting downloads. I'm tethered to my phone though, so... it's obviously not a traditional router. Looks like a temporary error -- it couldn't map the port, then seconds later (within the same minute), the port gets mapped. I wouldn't worry about it, even if it does happen every time.

It's this message, I'm getting tired of seeing in the Execution Log: "04/10/2013 18:47:21 - qBittorrent was just updated and needs to be restarted for the changes to be effective."
Hochy
Your phone is not a router, as there is no uPNP service/daemon running on it. Also as you use a 3G/mobile network, you will be behind a NAT (as far as I know).
So it fails a few times and gives up. But again, you should NOT worry about those messages. They really are not a concern, the application is just way too verbose. Other apps just usually hides such messages.

This libtorrent issue might be connected to this: http://code.google.com/p/libtorrent/issues/detail?id=535
Also can you use this tool: http://upnp-portmapper.sourceforge.net/ ? Hitting connect should find your router. If it doesn't then your router doesn't support upnp. If finds it try to map a port with it and if it succeeds then libtorrent has some bug.
Not an issue any more by the looks of it. @thalieht do your thing. Actually they're all gonna get deleted anyway thanks to #12679
Super old issue no longer applicable. @Ryrynz please stop tagging members to close old issues, as you mentioned these kinds of issues will soon be auto-closed, and your activity in them actually prevents the script from closing them.
Every time I launch qbittorrent I get these 3 messages at the top of the journal window :
18/03/2013 10:21:31 - UPnP/NAT-PMP : La redirection du port sur le routeur a réussi, message : successfully mapped port using UPnP. external port: 14450 18/03/2013 10:21:31 - UPnP/NAT-PMP : Impossible de rediriger le port sur le routeur, message : could not map port using UPnP: 18/03/2013 10:21:31 - UPnP/NAT-PMP : La redirection du port sur le routeur a réussi, message : successfully mapped port using UPnP. external port: 14450
The middle one seems to be an error message, however I haven't noticed anything not working properly, compared to the previous versions where the middle message did not appear. This issue existed on v3.0.9 and v3.0.8, not sure if it was already here before. This is on windows 7.
