AIDR real time tweet collection map #37

Are you an expert on back-end programming using Java EE? Are you an expert in front-end programming using ExtJS? The AIDR project is always looking for contributors who can help us bringing new and exciting capabilities to AIDR. We invite you to consider this is a self-organized community task.

It is not on the current roadmap. If you would like to work on this mini-project, please add your notes and we will follow-up.

Title: AIDR real time tweet collection map Product: AIDR Summary: AIDR could display real-time tweets on a map for a given collection. This project could be in conjunction with the MicroMappers Map, but not exclusively.

Skills Needed: CSS, AIDR Stack. Mapping knowledge ==> Must : CSS, Jquery, html5, Mapping knowledge, map api (e.g. google map api, lefletJS and etc) ==> Nice to have : AIDR Stack, JAVA, J2EE, Web Socket

Mentors/contact: Ji Kim Lucas, Senior Software Developer Lead

Is there anyone currently working on this project? I'm potentially interested and would love to get more details about this project.
