Unable to Download collection #38

The Download feature appears to have a bug with potentially large collections.

Steps to reproduce the issues:

  1. Open Collection
  2. Click Download
  3. Download Button "spins"
  4. Closed AIDR
  5. Restarted AIDR
  6. Same Behaviour

Expected result: Able to download the last 100, 000 tweets

Actual observed result: The download feature 'spins'

Details:

Downloading Charity Data The Collection had over 3 million tweets. I wanted to download the last set, but after clicking 'download' it spun with no action. I assumed it would give me the last 100, 000, but it seems that the large collection might have broken the download option? Imran reviewed and advised to file a bug.

Received this note from developers :

==> Existing bug. if collection set is too big, aidr is having issue generate file or it takes forever. It will be resolved by restructuring current architecture.
