Joystick not correctly calibrated on GEFS #16

Hello,

First, sorry for my english, I'm a 15 years old french boy and I learn english
by myself.

I use the Saitek's Cyborg 3D Gold USB Joystick plugged in my MacBook Pro and
I'm running GEFS on Windows 7 with Bootcamp. It work (even if the small d-pad
at the top is not showing up on the controls configuration) but it's not well
calibrated. The plane goes to the left and it's really hard to make it go to
the right.
I can see in the configuration panel that the axis blue bars doesn't fill up
and out entirely.

How can I calibrate my joystick?

Thanks.

Whilst the joystick can be calibrated from the plug-in, you can also calibrate
it from Windows. From the control panel, select Devices and Printers. You
should see your Saitek stick listed there. Right-click it and select the first
option for the controller's settings. You should now have a list of installed
joysticks and other game controllers. Select your Saitek again and click
Properties. Click the Settings tab and you should be able to calibrate the
centre point, limits, etc.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for this fast reply. I don't know why but it's surely caused by
Bootcamp, I can't find my Joystick in the list
(http://cl.ly/image/3g2x1r2P3G0R). Can I calibrate it from the plugin? How can
I proceed?

It's odd that your joystick works with the plug-in but doesn't show up in the
list of devices. All the calibration in the the plug-in does is launch the OS
tool. You can do the same from the 'run' menu or command prompt by typing:

control joy.cpl
