Bug: Can't connect to Perfect Privacy - Unraid #663

Closed RagnarRipper closed 3 years ago

RagnarRipper commented 3 years ago

I checked the Log and am fairly certain it's a typo in the template (and have NO idea how to adjust that in Unraid's Docker thing)

This is the line I think it is (full Log below)

"[...]VPNSP: value is not within the accepted values: perfectprivacy: it can only be one of: [...] perfect privacy"

Here's what the container's full Log says:

"Running version latest built on 2021-10-05T21:37:20Z (commit d405ba8) [...] 2021/10/06 00:44:24 ERROR cannot read VPN settings: cannot read provider settings: environment variable VPNSP: value is not within the accepted values: perfectprivacy: it can only be one of: custom, cyberghost, expressvpn, fastestvpn, hidemyass, ipvanish, ivpn, mullvad, nordvpn, perfect privacy, privado, pia, private internet access, privatevpn, protonvpn, purevpn, surfshark, torguard, vpn unlimited, vyprvpn, wevpn, windscribe 2021/10/06 00:44:24 INFO Shutdown successful"

Googled a bit, no I know how to adjust that in Unraid's Docker thing and managed to edit the variable and add the space to "perfect privacy". Log tells me I'm connected now.

Waiting for it to be merged in this repository: https://github.com/DiamondPrecisionComputing/unraid-templates/pull/6

It should be done tonight/tomorrow 😉 Sorry that was a Wiki and Unraid template issue.

In the future, see #550 on how to fix the Unraid template yourself (aka contribute), you just need your browser really.

You can also add variables / improve the XML file as you wish if you feel like it.
