If if try to 'find' Mutate, files appear in the following folders

As you can see there is a Mutate.desktop file, and within it there is 'Exec=mutate'
Nevertheless, Mutate does NOT appear under the cinnamon menu, and there is no such executable command as 'mutate' that I can find in the system.
Any hints?
Hello, I am on a lenovo thinkpad t440 with Linux Mint 'Rafaela', Cinnamon edition.
I successfully added the repository and installed mutate and its dependencies through CLI.
After that I can't find mutate through mint menu app launcher, or through 'which' command, neither manually under /usr/bin/.
I tried rebooting and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling through software manager, but this did not solve the problem: I could not find the program neither.
I've seen a closed issue which refers to this same problem, with about three people declaring to experience it. But although the issue is closed there is no reference to a cause or solution.
What would you recommend?
