Thanks for your help - to be sure, I presume the most recent .dmg file is what I am chasing? (ie if the most recent .dmg is
qgis_pr_final-3_18_2_20210426_125925.dmg | 27-Apr-2021 03:56 | 1.2G
then 3.18.2 from April 27 is what the download link provides?
cheers
that is how it should work
Describe the bug
Hi there, first and foremost thank you for your work! This is a minor request, but our versions of QGIS notify us that a new version is available but we are finding that (on Mac OS X) when we download it is the old version. Given the size of the package, I doubt that either you or us which to download the package any more often than required, but there is no way of identifying the version until it is downloaded and unpacked.
We were hoping that at the least the download link (https://qgis.org/downloads/macos/qgis-macos-pr.dmg) could somehow include the version number (ie 3.18.2), to avoid us downloading it again if we already have it.)
How to Reproduce
Image as below shows link that appears in QGIS:![Screen Shot 2021-05-23 at 13 25 16](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/2987068/119249444-34970600-bbcb-11eb-8646-9d5b29dfc842.png)
