Settings menu --> Options --> General tab --> Application frame, Stype parameter In QGIS 2.18 (windows 10), I have : Windows, WindowsXP, WindowsVista, Motif, CDE, Plastique and Cleanlooks as options In Master on the same machine, I get for this parameter: Windows, WindowsXP, WindowsVista, Fusion. I suppose that this difference might have to do with Qt4 vs Qt5.

I've played a moment with that parameter, checking whether it triggers #24666 (with no great success). But now that I'd like to restore the default parameter using qgis --nocustomization or qgis --defaultui command, nothing happens. I'm unable to retrieve the initial configuration, the manually selected style parameter still applies.

I switched from fusion to windows, closed and qgis --defaultui. I confirm that in 8bd755b it does not revert to fusion (assuming that is the default style). That said, I don't know if that style option is part of the default (stored) settings.
