Add Option for transparent Map Background for 3D viewer #28483

If possible, there should be an option to remove the map background plane from the 3D viewer, or at least make it transparent.

This aids significantly in viewing XYZ points and 3D DXF meshes that delineate subsurface features such as bore-holes, groundwater, etc..

At this time, subsurface features can only be viewed from the side or below, viewing from above the map plane obscures all subsurface features.

Many Thanks.

To piggyback on this feature request, if the map background can be made transparent, it would be nice if saving the 3D map as an image (with the button Save as Image... image) would generate a PNG with also a transparent background instead of white. In fact, having the ability to choose the color of the background like we can with the regular 2D canvas would add flexibility.
