[3D View] Allow camera coordinate to be modified to control position #56245

Open roya0045 opened 8 months ago

Feature description

As the coordinates of the camera/POV can be shown with the debug uption, it would be nice to be able to modify them for quicker naviation than with mouse input.

Notrably to control the z axis as scrolling can be extremely slow in some cases.

Additional context

FYI you can hold right click and move mouse to zoom faster and more precisely than using the wheel. Still +1 for the feature

I tried it, by holding right click from the top of my screen to the bottom, the z position decreased by 0.5, I am at 47 units, going to 0 or something around that is still a long trek at this rate. I would expect some rate of movement to be low near the surface and high away from it but it seems to be slow down when the dataset i the width of the screen.

My data i currently at a flat 0

Try right clicking at the point you need to zoom to instead, similar to how you would do with the wheel.
