Was reported before, but looks like the bug is still there.
You got a default blank white icon of the QGIS app on Windows desktop after updating QGIS.
Only happens on desktop and only with QGIS. In other folders the icon looks normal.
Steps to reproduce the issue
Update QGIS.
Drag QGIS icon from QGIS folder to desktop.
QGIS icon becomes default white icon.

just install new version and delete the previous one
installer places icons in the folder on the desktop, when you drag or copy QGIS icon from the folder to desktop, the icon becomes white. This is not happening with other apps from the folder, like SAGA
