Widget type - Value Map assign wrong column to attribute #58902

Open Tourmaline62 opened 3 weeks ago

Tourmaline62 commented 3 weeks ago

What is the bug or the crash?

When in Attribute Form the Widget Type is set to Value Map and both Values and Description are populated the resulting data in the attribute table is the information from description column not the Value column. I suspect this is a bug.

To be honest, the description is not clear enough to say if this is indeed a bug, can you please attach a sample project and data and the detailed step-by-step procedure to reproduce the issue?

Sorry about the poor description.

In the Value Map are two columns one “description” and the other “value” see image one.

I would have thought that the value is displayed in the attribute table however it’s the description that is displayed as shown in image two.
