Deare agua19909,
The option of declaring hydrants at some network nodes is already contemplated in the QGISRed roadmap for future versions.
Unlike the emitters, which are a property of the nodes, the hydrants will be differentiated objects superimposed on or connected to some node in the network, with their own discharge law. They will also have the associated property of being active or not, so you can easily configure any situation in the event of a fire, observe possible interactions between nearby hydrants, or take into account their role in calibration tasks.
But you will have to wait for future versions.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion
here is a proposal for improvements for a future update. It could be interesting to be able to have a tool to simulate the flow under a bar of a fire hydrant. Or to have an option to automatically calculate all fire hydrants in an area this option is useful for creating a epanet network.
