Hi @qgroom, I've reviewed the document and mainly improved Markdown markup (block quotes, code blocks, links, etc.) and edited the introduction. The gist of the document has not changed.

Also, for all controlled vocabularies, I have used lower casing, which is in line with the controlled vocabs already out there (http://rs.gbif.org/vocabulary/gbif/)
