Hello.

Your site is completely unavailable. Can you place assembly instruction here (github) or on another international (not co.za) hosting?

Thank you for your great work!

qharley commented 11 years ago

I am using USA hosting for my site. It is only the co.za extention that makes it seem south-african...

I will include the assembly instruction on Github or Instructables when done.

Also try using http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/reprap.harleystudio.co.za According to this my site is up... It may be that your internet service provider is blocking the co.za extention.
Everybody knows that South-Africa only has criminals, and no real innovators, or any good content to share with the word, right? Perhaps you need to check with them first.

I have registered the domain reprapmorgan.com.

Who is your hosting through? I have had intermittent problems with your site but not in the last month.

qharley commented 11 years ago

It was recently moved to a large data-center. It may be why there is less hickups now.

I'm also very interested in looking at your blog. :)

No such luck.

I can't even ping reprap.harleystudio.co.za steadily. Tried from Sweden (home ADSL) and Germany (Hetzner data center.) I succeeded once from Germany, but since then it keeps failing.

I also tried http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/reprap.harleystudio.co.za. Most of the times it says OK, but it fails once in a while.

Maybe it's some firewall DoS protection being picky. Including traceroutes if you want to pass on to your hosting supplier. Both of them end with a series of no replies. (The last hop seems to change from trace to trace.)

Doing some ad-hoc testing shows d1l.com (don't know what it is, but has an IP-address close to yours and traceroute seems the same) worked the first time I tried, but now it's just stalling.

qharley commented 11 years ago

Well...

I am definitely going to post the completed build instructions to both my site and the RepRap wiki

I was hoping to read the blog. I've sort-of fallen in love with SCARA and delta robots, and I'm trying to find all videos and images I can. ;)

Anyways. Now you know more than one cannot access (and that kefir- can access) it. Posting to the Wiki is probably enough on a bigger scale.

qharley commented 11 years ago

Is there no way to use a proxy to get to the blog?

There is. E.g. http://hidemyass.com/ works.

kefir- commented 11 years ago

I've tried several. Home, mobile, and probably others.

Seems problems have gone away...
