What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add commas in
http://svn.sonatype.org/flexmojos/trunk/rvin-mojo/flex-mojo-IT/src/test/resource
s/coverage/asdoc-inclusion-exclusion/pom.xml

<footer>Something,,, to be show on footer</footer>

2. mvn asdoc:asdoc

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"command line: Error: configuration variable 'footer' expected 1
argument(s), got 2"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe also add special characters to the test like:
<footer>Something to be shown in the footer,:;-_éàèäöü)(/&%ç*?</footer>
