load up homepage nativation using css sprites #175

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. currently navigation items are loaded up individually which is increasing 
server requests
2. need to load them up using css sprites

Hey Jon, I have added the screenshots showing how the menu sprite image appears 
from my end, i have only updated the test site with the code so that after you 
approve i can duplicate the code to the live site, please let me know which 
modifications you wanted. Thanks
