sign out contains two signout notifications #179

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. if user signs out he gets redirected and a popup message appears notifying 
that user has signed out.

2.redirect to homepage with the popup instead of redirecting to message display

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

there was no notification and additionally the page hasn't been directed to the 
homepage .
