My name is QiaoYi Lin. I'm interested in this topic. I very want to contributed to qiskit especially biological computing and protein folding problem.
Hi @pbark and @dlasecki, I am really interested in protein folding problem as it will be really helpful in drug discovery in the upcoming years. As a matter of fact I have been pursuing a project related to the same using a different approach, the Quantum Alternating Operator Ansatz.
I was wondering what kind of upgrades do you have in mind ?
And I think your paper "Resource-Efficient Quantum Algorithm for Protein Folding" is really intuitive and the fact that it is so easy to implement using Qiskit is super awesome. Hoping to work under your guidance. Thanks

Description
Protein folding is the newest sampling problem to be released in qiskit nature 0.2.0. We would like to implement some convenience tools and extend the implementation to allow for better result interpretation and visualization of the final output.
