Ideas and examples

Examples of other Hackathons: Quantum Othello: Let's build Othello, the black and white completion, in the quantum version. Starting with NxN board, as usual, two players (or teams) can put their disc on the board in either superposition form or one of the state, white or black. Moreover, instead of just put in the dice, you can do quantum operation too! e.g. Hadamard, CX, or funny custom quantum gate to deal with the amplitude of the state! Eternity II: The Eternity II puzzle is an edge-matching puzzle which involves placing 256 square pieces into a 16 by 16 grid, constrained by the requirement to match adjacent edges. This puzzle was released on 28 July 2007 and a $2 million prize was offered for the first complete solution. The competition ended at noon on 31 December 2010, with no solution being found.
