GUI Update to highlight widgets & programatic creation of toolbar icons #711

What are the issues this pull addresses (issue numbers / links)?

Summary

All GUI

main changes way to create widget toolbars for show hide, now programatic, much better used monkey patch use raises rather than show/hide. added highlight to the plot and rebuild too

now red on hoover image

now when select library image

then dissapears after 1.5 s

Hi, you just need to fix the linting to merge. Cannot merge without the linting fix.
