Would be nice to export the issues into a comma seperated file. This could 
be used to import into excel and later print out a consolidated report.

Better to have a delimiter like "~" for example because comma could appear 
within a 
issue...This could still be used to import into excel

You may try using Excel:
 1. Import data from XML (on Excel 2003 it is under menu: Data --> XML --> Import...)
 2. Use pivot table to generate a report.
