Error about new review ID not existing anymore #66

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
I'm new to Jupiter and downloaded the jar for 3.4 and put it into my
ECLIPSE_HOME/plugin directory manually. I setup a new Review ID and choose
a new Individual Phase, verify my Review ID Selection and click "OK". Then
I see an error

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create new Review ID
2. Click Jupiter-> Individual Phase
3. Verify Review ID and click "OK"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should be able to add review items. Instead I get the Review perspective
but I see the error ""The selected review ID does not exist any more.
Select another review ID or define a new review ID."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using Jupiter 3.4.2 on Eclipse 3.4 running with JDK 1.5.0_13.

If applicable, what editor does the problem occur in (Jupiter is tested
against the 'Eclipse for RCP/Plug-in Developers' so the editors may vary)?

Java Editor, I think

Please provide any additional information below.

I created a new workspace (which got rid of a few plugins) and checkout the same
project again and now Jupiter is working fine. I'm not sure what plugin I had
that
caused the conflict -- I will figure that out sometime.

Hello again. Thanks for letting me know. I haven't been able to reproduce it
myself. If you encounter it again
feel free to paste the contents of your log file in here and then I can look at
it further. Or if you still have your
.log file from your older workspace feel free to paste that here too as it may
give some clues on what went
wrong.

It happened again on the new workspace and I'm including the log. this is a
clean
log file -- all I did was start eclipse and try to start a review.

In another note -- I downloaded 3.3 and installed no other plugins but Jupiter
and it
seems to be working. My 3.4 that generated the above log has logs of plugins
installed.

Hmm... how strange. Did you download Jupiter from the update site or did you
get the
jar file?
