Amen to that. Of course, the best means of avoiding langled manguage is to avoid t'internet and you won't be doing that anytime soon.

What I don't understand is whether saying "blog" instead of "blog post" is inaccurate (they are 2 different things, after all) or imprecise (maybe blog includes blog posts), or perhaps both.

While there are differences between the concepts of accuracy and precision, at this level they amount to similar ways to measure expressions, so I would say saying "blog" for "blog post" is both inaccurate and imprecise. Not to mention infuriating :-)
