It's perfectly working on iPhone 14 Pro Max (128GB). all good with airplay. May be your iPhone have an issue throw it out.

Not a helpful comment is it, just because something is working for you doesn't necessarily mean it's working for someone else, I really don't think it's fair to ridicule someone else's experience just because it's working for you don't you have anything better to do? The whole point of GitHub is for people to report their experiences without being ridiculed for it, being honest, your attitude sucks, perhaps you should throw it out and get a new one?

Same here with my iPad Pro 10.5 2018 - iOS 16.4 and Apple TV 4K TvOS 16.4. but it work when AirPlay to my iMac.

also work with iPhone XR 16.4 on both iMac and Apple TV but need mirror the screen instead of using the AirPlay button in YT+

Btw i’ve completly reset my iPad and just installed YT+ to be sure there was no other configs or apps that were causing the problem

Can confirm this is happened to me too. A screen that popped up when pressing the airplay button on a video saying to go to settings and enabling local network access. Tapping Go to Settings brought me to my settings app but nowhere else. But all I had to do was find the YouTube app at the bottom and enable it there. Seems to be working fine for me now, maybe that’s the solution you were looking for?

Can also confirm this is happening. iPhone 14 pro max, iOS 16.4.1 I can however get it to work most times, but it takes some doing. Sometimes when it freezes and it's just a spinning wheel on the TV screen, I'll use the apple remote and hit the back button till it backs out of the airplay, which normally kicks it out of airplay on the iPhone as well. Then I'll simply retry. Sometimes I can also get it to work by first choosing the cast/airplay option in the app with no video queued up or playing, then once the apple tv is chosen, I would then click on the video I want and it will work.... eventually. Sometimes take anywhere from 3-7 attempts.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16.2. Previous versions required some fiddling to get airplay to work. Would just share a black screen with no timecode, going back and starting again a few times managed to start the video. Newest version however displays a new youtube ui, not the iOS airplay screen when pressed the cast button. New UI won't find even a single device to share to. Apple TV or a Samsung smart tv won't show up, like before. A workaround however that i found is to go to a website that has a video player, cast that, and then go to YouTube, and it will automatically switch to a video from Youtube.

I had the same issue, enabling YTHotConfig.enableVSS2AirplayFix in settings A/B fixed it for me.

Also running into this issue and it's been a pain point for me for months. Even with the latest version the app is unable to see other local devices. I know development restarted back on uYouPlus, so if we could prioritize this as it would make a world of difference

Having this issue as well iOS 17.4.1 with uYou 19.4.2-3.0.3
