• iOS/iPadOS version: 17.3.1
• Device model: IPhone 12
• Sideload tool (AltStore, Sideloadly, TrollStore, etc.): Sideloadly

Describe the issue

When I go onto a video, the video plays, but below it where the desc and etc is usually shown, it says "Error loading Tap to retry". When I tap it, it gives me the new layout which is not what I want. This issue started about 20 minutes before this post was made if that helps. (BTW FAQ was read, but the person had a kind of different problem to mine).

Steps to reproduce

1. Turn on fake YouTube version in YouPIP setting
2. Go onto a longform style video

❌ No, I cannot reproduce this issue in the official YouTube app from the App Store

Should probably mention that it did work before, just in case I was too vague about that.

Same happening to me, I had to enable fake version because otherwise it would crash when opening any video

The problem for me is vice versa to yours. I also tried also older versions of uyou+ by itself but to no avail. Right now I’m just sticking with the newer version since I don’t have a choice but I’m not closing this issue just in case someone found a fix.

Same issue. After last iOS update it started to shutdown by itself.
