Disable sponsorblock. Force close. Open again and it should work. There is currently an issue with sponsorblock causing it to close on video click.

lonzoweb commented 3 months ago

Niki8173 commented 3 months ago

Yes even when disabling sponsorblock it still keeps on crashing

nschroeder8472 commented 3 months ago

This appears to be the same as #1420

laura-golec commented 3 months ago

Having the exact same issue. disabling Sponsorblock, reinstalling the app, restarting my phone do not fix the issue.

therealFoxster commented 3 months ago

Disable uYou's playback speed control in uYou settings see if that helps. This feature was fixed recently but seems to be broken again

laura-golec commented 3 months ago

Yup, that fixed it. Thank you

tumo07 commented 3 months ago

Yup confirm go to uyou settings -> video player -> toggle off Playback speed controls and it worked I will leave this as open for dev to fix in next update and then i’ll close

From the crash log, it seems to be how uYou fails to get the correct object and it tries to invoke the method that does not exist on that object.

theawes0megamer commented 3 months ago

Can confirm turning off sponsor block works.

Yup invalid argument on setplaybackspeed Is this a uyou bug or is it something you can fix

tumo07 commented 3 months ago

Can confirm turning off sponsor block works.

Didn’t work for me Worked when i disable uyou playback controls ( the plus and minus that you use to set playback speed)

Do you need my ipa to replicate? I can email you or any other means

AverageUserofGit commented 3 months ago

Can confirm this issue, fixed by turning off playback speed control.

PoomSmart commented 3 months ago

I don't know to reproduce this bug yet as it doesn't happen on any of my devices. In the meantime, you should report this bug to the author of uYou.

I have the same issue, but turning off Playback speed controls doesn’t fix it. I’m using v19.08.2-3.0.3.

Have you tried turning off isponsorblock as well? I think isponsorblock is also broken in v19.08.2-3.0.3

m1337v commented 2 months ago

For me it helped to adjust the default playback speed. It was 2x for YouTube in general, but 1x in uYou+. Setting it to 2x in uYou+ fixed the crash.

I just updated my install today using the most recent update of this repo alongside the newest YouTube app and everything is working again including setting the default playback speed to 1.5x. It seems like whatever has caused this issue has been resolved.

Anon-Exploiter commented 2 months ago

This fixes it. I downgraded thinking the latest version is crashing but it seems there's some issues with the libs injected.

tumo07 commented 2 months ago

Tldr poomsmart is informed about this and he is working on it, also he told me to report this to uyou author as well and i’m waiting for either uyou plus or uyou to release a new update and i’ll check if the problem is solved.

PoomSmart commented 2 months ago

The latest commit of uYouPlus should resolve this issue.
