Describe the bug

The uYou gesture for brightness, whether on top or bottom of the video player, does not work. This has only been a thing in iOS 16.

How to reproduce the bug

Crash log (if possible)

(The crash log can be found in the Settings app > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data > Youtube...) no

Are you using the newest version of uYouPlus? If not, why?

(Developers spend time and effort to fix bugs & add improvements with every release. Why don't you update to the latest version before reporting about an issue???) yep

Does the issue happen with the official YouTube from AppStore?

(Well, YouTube itself is buggy sometimes...) no

I don't think so it worked in iOS 15

Before I updated to iOS 16, I was on iOS 15 and it was working flawlessly

Hi ! I absolutely confirm that. Since ios 16 the brightness gesture doesn’t work anymore. No matter which uyou+ version i istall. So please fix this issue. A part from that, great work guys.

Please try v18.15.1-3.0

Indeed. This was not fixed with 3.0.

Yeah. Not even on iOS 17 does it work. I’ve grown to live without it but this is a standout feature and it just hasn’t worked for A YEAR.

Can also confirm that it's still broken on iOS 16 running the latest version of uYouPlus.

Still broken on v19.08.2-3.0.3 / iOS 16. This was an amazing feature.

VLC App has a similar feature and it works on iOS 16 and 17.
