Stick Figures: Locking Joints #12

Basically, you can lock joints on stick figures to prevent inverse kinematics from calculating past that jont. An example would be: If you were to lock the hip joint, then moving the stick by the foot would only affect the knee of that foot. Moving a figure by the neck would only affect the upper body.
