The Forge version of Immersive Portals mod is being provided but not supported. You can still report issues, but all Forge-version-specific issues won't likely be solved especially the mod compatibility issues.
I deleted the nether dim-1 folder to reset it after adding a new ore mod. Now the nether portals aren't working at all. Even after deleting the portal blocks, removing the immersive portals mod, and even restoring a backup of the nether directory.
