So I had installed IP, and then after discovering that there's a forge release for Pehkui, I added that and decided to test if portals would scale entities. I made two portals, one a 2x2 and one a 4x4, and they connected, the views were appropriately scaled, going from a 2x2 to a 4x4, but upon travelling through a portal, the size would instantly be reset. I find it odd that despite the correct visual interaction it decides not to play along with the fact that your scale should be altered.
