Game crashes when opening portal through Nether #90

This has happened multiple times

When you light a portal in the Nether, it never finds a corresponding frame in the Overworld While searching it occasionally lags for long periods of time that sometimes can end when you switch dimensions, otherwise it ends at seemingly random times While these "lag periods" occur, nothing in the game can update at all (meaning you can't pick up items but you can still walk on top of it, for example) When the searching reaches 100% it attempts to make a new portal but crashes This might be because the portal is in the Nether and it might be searching the Nether for a frame in the Overworld and it can't make a portal on top of itself (although if that were true then it could make a portal somewhere else in the Nether)

well, can you try to upgrade to 1.15?

I tried to update to Fabric 1.15 but it caused this to happen
