cannot have 24:00 as endTime for a daily schedule #126

I'm trying to build a user-interface with 2 fields startTime and endTime.
Unfortunately I cannot have the endTime field extend to 24:00 (end of day).
Is this by design or something that should be fixed?

There is no such thing as 24:00. The end of the day is 23:59:(59.999...)
