There's possibly some regression but from this I don't know where. I don't use WooCommerce. I need more technical details and investigation from your side or other users. I can't spend my time reproducing all the integration issues.
Hello
I am the business owner of the website https://forum.financial-lines.ch. We have been using "TheGem" Theme, Vendidero Germanized Plugin and qtranslate-XT for years (previously qtranslateX), and we have always had two Custom Legal checkboxes for the WooCommerce Checkout (respectively Terms & Conditions and Consent for Media Partners) which appear at Checkout.
However, possibly since the last Germanized & Pro update or theme update, the checkboxes are no longer translated correctly after the WooCommerce Checkout page is being reconstructed by WooCommerce. The Germanized team mentioned that they reload all content via AJAX when parts of the Checkout page are refreshed by WooCommerce but it seems the qTranslateXT translation does not occur anymore for those fields when refreshing that part of the page. For other checkout fields created with other plugins, the translation works.
What happens:
Until now, the text was always displayed correctly and translated. What can be done to fix this translation issue for special fields?
Additional information:
Please note that the Advanced Setting "Filter all WordPress options for translation at front-end. " is active (and has always been).
The Vendidero Germanized team mentions that they cannot help further but mentioned that the Refresh on the WooCommerce Checkout is triggered in the "woocommerce_update_order_review_fragments" hook and the entire Vendidero Germanized logic for custom fields is here: https://github.com/vendidero/woocommerce-germanized/blob/master/includes/class-wc-gzd-legal-checkbox-manager.php#L82
Thank you for any info. I am the Business Owner of the Website, we do not have a specific WP Developer, so I hope we can fix this through minor interventions and configurations. (also: please ignore the Q&A text I have posted on this, as I did not understand).
Kind regards, Cristian
