Hi, When I tried to share my url on Facebook, Linkedin, or any page, the symbol [:en] keeps showing up on the meta description It seems that this is a permanent issue as I found no solutions elsewhere though many have raised it. If anyone found a solution I would greatly appreciate if you can share it here. Thank you. en

For me the problem was due to Yoat SEO 14.3...when I updated to the latest version this issue appeared. I downgraded Yoat SEO to 13 then the issue was fixed.

it seems that Yoat no longer takes into account of meta and title SEO in the latest version. If you enter nothing on the meta of Yoat then there is no problem

Thanks for reply.

How so you handle for the slug for both languages ? In Yoast it is not taken into account. It keep the slug of the first language => website.com/en/slug1 instead of slug2.

I haven't found a way to change the slug so the 2nd language I keep the same slug with the first language. I saw a plugin that that helps with this issue but haven't try it
