This is a great idea for a game, and I love the difficulty setting from "toddler" to "adult".
Unfortunately, I can't share it with the toddlers I know because of bugs they'd find frustrating. In particular, I've noticed two things:
1) app uses Emoji not present on device. On a kindle, for example, some times it would tell me to find a completely invisible icon and I had to just randomly click to find it. Amazon's Emoji font is very limited. Perhaps a Free Software font would be nice to include.(https://github.com/emojione/emojione/tree/2.2.7)
2) The icon to find may be completely obscured by other icons. This could be solved by always asking for the most recently displayed icon (last in the list), since that one is guaranteed to be always on top.
But really, bugs aside, it'd be good to be able to skip when one is getting frustrated. So, my request is: please add a "show me" button that skips to the next one.
(A "hint" button would be nice, too. I haven't yet figured out how to get hints to show.)
