Greetings Dr. Andrea Telatin.

I am requesting for your assstance once again to install PhageTerm on my Terminal because I failed to install it based on the content of the package available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/phageterm/.

I have tried to install it by going through the online resources available at https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-install-zip-files-in-linux and https://askubuntu.com/questions/419732/how-do-i-install-a-zip-file-via-the-command-line. Unfortunately, I could not install it.

Below is the content of my downloaded package:

.......:~/phageterm-1.0.12$ ls
_modules PhageTerm.py README.txt test-data

Kindly provide assistance!

Hello @noutin2020 As your ls command shows, you have a program called PhageTerm.py in your directory, that you should be able to execute invoking its relative or absolute path (e.g. ./PhageTerm.py).

Unfortunately, this repository contains the instructions for the workshop and issues relative to the content of the workshop are welcome, but for issues on command line I suggest to attend Linux training events (like https://cli-boot.camp/).

Good luck!

Hello Dr.

I have tried to execute this and there has been a bug related to the content of the program. I am trying to get advice from the developer to address the issue.

Many thanks for your suggestion and I shall definitely make out time for this.
