FF, Rewind on WAMI play? #17

Is it possible to select a audio cursor to start playback at a specific point 
in a sound file.  Ideally would like to specify playback url plus a value for 
the playback to begin.

I would say that this is beyond the scope of what WAMI is trying to accomplish 
(which is mainly recording).  For playback HTML5 is much closer to having 
something workable.  You can have the features you describe for WAV in every 
browser except IE.  For IE you can have MP3.  It means you have to keep two 
representations of an audio file... which is a pain.  But eventually the 
browsers will work out their differences here.
